The website is <a href="http://www.sassipaciboutique.com/">http://www.sassipaciboutique.com/</a> . I am still in the process of getting all that set up, so there's not anything up just yet.. Why?! Who knows.. </div><div> </div><div>I should be greatful for what the Lord has given me:</div><ul><li>A wonderful set of parents and in-laws that do anything in their power to help whenever possible</li><br /><br /><br /><li>A wonderful husband, that sometimes pushes my buttons, but supports me in anything I do.</li><br /><br /><br /><li>A beautiful son, that is ALL BOY, and drives me crazy some days with the CONSTANT motion.. But makes me smile EVERYDAY when he tells me he loves me without provocation, says bless you when I sneeze or cough, says "thank you" without being told, or makes those silly two-year old comments like "Wake up baby Jesus and look at the Christmas tree!" to the nativity scene at my parents house.</li><br /><br /><br /><li>A new house that I LOVE, still needs some work, but it is getting there</li><br /><br /><br /><li>And many more things too numerous to mention</li></ul><div><br /><br /><br /></div><p>Yet, I just am just <em><strong>blah</strong></em>.. </p><div><br /><br /><br /></div><p>I have been thinking I want to go back to school, but have been meeting some resisitance.. I want to be a sign language interpreter<em>, actually</em>, a deafblind intervenor, but the degree would be in sign language interpretation.. The problem is, I would have to drive into Houston to be able to do it, and that's a problem.. </p><p>I have started being crafty, making pacifier holders/bib clips to sell, but no one is buying them.. I have a friend that has a boutique and she was going to sell them, and me make them, but I don't know that she has even had an inquiry.. So, I am feeling a little discouraged about that. My mom bought me a sewing machine the other day, since I really needed one for the forementioned project.. I haven't really gotten a chance to play with it a whole lot, but I want to try to tackle something new, a diaper and wipe pouch.. I had purchased one when Luke was a baby, and "disected" it last night and believe I can TRY to do it.. I will let you know when I get it down, if anyone is interested..</p><div> </div><p>Enough about me.. Here's what you've all been waiting for.. We had fun visiting with everyone. We even took a train from Grapevine to The Stockyards in Fort Worth. A couple days later Leslae, Luke and I went to the rodeo to get Luke's new cowboy hat. It has become a tradition to go get him a new hat from this certain vendor that can burn designs and names into the hats, so they are one of a kind. Here's a few pictures from the events..</div><div><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /> </div><div></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5318245123860203170" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 213px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizv8AyKg2d-J08IJ0NgKxsIn19Xh0Cligl2gknCYS-mWgi_z5iTRUUo_3L2oZKtuCPjanhy70n83YpJPfq86nG0jpyEk3sDvWbCmguWd3AwvZsh2ksv9v5ANW3Yes2srYB9pmeAIMyHJ-C/s320/DSC_0654.JPG" border="0" /><br />Luke riding the train<br /><br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5318246935708889810" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 213px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhoCSGlfFQ0-HsRAXil9ARpkDXz-esyUYwfq9EhQ5wsRXCS4cRuhwt3rO0tsA5ri_4hedY8d1qJtQbOWsxtuWyG_CgM_TBREAzBqSYCwqnacI_t0BXiVyzcd7Eyrxr2FX03fAEphmOpaWPl/s320/DSC_0697.JPG" border="0" /><br />Luke riding Pecos Bill at the Stockyards in Ft Worth<br /><br /><div></div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5318246943403329058" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 246px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_he10loaJ7kIj42s_DOhTXK9ZkaYb77aLOgKyXSEcZfNpVm8VJSkkA2IqN87smznpJ9wrnTS0kqztufEjObGCTzFvhFmWI0te-Dz_jzrGu_LtW_Dt8t2Q1AAbBtzSMY_GeWCzOwkN50sF/s320/2009Mar7-5_generations.JPG" border="0" />FIVE generations, you don't see that too often</div><div> </div><div><br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5318246947141886210" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 213px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4xEbYAQsOrsk541TVxiX7uPRnQmPm8FY8oznefL8PI1u0ax3A1_tcf-uftl8IZuBH6PjOTyys-oTMBfxM495f7BfpvDVq9lOEVqYEDp2M6AYtfyLAQCVMp2wg5w8P6jK5q99yQaA7V75C/s320/DSC_0757.JPG" border="0" /><br />My little cowboy with his name on the back of the hat<br /><br /><br /><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5318246948400839778" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 213px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGE_P52RqDzzxNnT4jWCyBXDzU3ONt5zLr7DXM-WM3XDLGENrp_qZqeuu6iDj7XZkZ76z8H3VB6fhwxa6RDQEB8E-LBNJ4VTZveEo7yhuDbp-TsmyzeCXvJncwSiHiISwabeNMiXmekTc_/s320/DSC_0807.JPG" border="0" /></div></div></div></div></div></div><br /><p>...hot today, hot yesterday too... he looks like a little old farmer<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5318246953566168418" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 213px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiq7mOay_UFzAkKJ4lIjHsGY41foXYwUmftIyy3oOfQCv19dgkvwio30tqnrV-MVFQmACzO2SSUi1RwSrnLk1eLSkYZ3Re-0jv-spyRZGoUqTDexvXmcIlJLKYCcLk5l46vaoTxcmvuFlSK/s320/DSC_0813.JPG" border="0" /></p><p>A close up of the design on the brim of the hat</p><p> </p>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8136452287097472555.post-26948425266635390422009-02-21T23:13:00.008-06:002009-02-21T23:29:08.859-06:00birthday pics<div align="center"><br />Laurie did such a great job this morning keeping up with Luke trying to get some birthday pictures done! I was all excited that I was going to eat lunch with my mom and aunt at the new Red Robin at the Pearland Town Square. My mom called me about 9 to wish me a happy birthday and plan what time to meet up. Her phone beeped in, and she'd call me back. It was my dad, he'd been at the doctor. He was having chest pain over the weekend, and was going to the doctor to get checked out better than the ambulance did. The doctor was sending him to Clear Lake Regional ER. Ok, well, no Red Robin for me.. Oh well. Well, the ER doctor said they had to admit him for a 24 hr observation and run some more tests. They ran all kinds of tests, and found NOTHING wrong with his heart. His liver enzymes were elevated, and checked his gallbladder. Nothing wrong there either! My dad was quite irritated by the time he got out Wednesday evening.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8136452287097472555.post-90228209982456420112008-08-23T21:21:00.004-05:002008-08-29T08:23:22.262-05:00Hand, Foot, Mouth<div align="center"><br /><br /></div><div align="center">Luke was exposed to hand, foot, mouth disease last Saturday by accident. Mia didn't have any symptoms when Luke was around her, so we didn't know. It is basically a virus that causes blisters on the said body parts. He has a few in his mouth, and a couple on his fingers. He isn't eating real well.. So, he drinks Pediasure.. The nurse said that as long as he stays hydrated, he will be ok, it isn't as important to try to make him eat solids.. It takes about a week ( give or take a couple days) to clear up, so he will be ok by the end of the week. </div><div align="center"><br /></div><div align="center"></div><div align="center"><br /></div><div align="center"></div><div align="center"><br /></div><div align="center"></div><div align="center"><br /></div><div align="center"></div><div align="center"><br /></div><div align="center"></div><div align="center"><br /></div><div align="center"></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5238854163920489250" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYkLoMvVrsr0Idhz_p1xB0UvwfmCbFP5vEijUPjBTy-BN2raIuvZ1SxWF-bqxJFHvThwF31jn6WxT-4Bg5WvePFOAinWske_t0XE6NvezIE6DXDcW39NqUHSYyRVbJemfSDbyf80ZftYYL/s320/Dad+%26+Luke+reading.jpg" border="0" /> <p align="left"> one of my favorite pictures of my guys!<br /><br /><br /></p>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8136452287097472555.post-68153954932908514732008-08-16T22:36:00.000-05:002008-08-16T22:54:32.422-05:00And on the bandwagon I go<div align="center"><br /><br /></div><div align="center"><br /></div><div align="center"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjW-3turbQx7Eksd4t9_iLY23Sf4SW533cCXkSLRlOs2WIFZSsmzh_Q_xncKK-MGwnuCNpaOJwnpz_cfWbgujTldQLWle283zUQmCI4MD44ZB_p9nmos6dyymaPaswI-2qH4VkrXW3m7dhn/s1600-h/DSCN0590.JPG"></a>Ok, ok I guess I will be "cool" and start a blog!</div><div align="center"><br /></div><div align="center"></div><div align="center"><br /></div><div align="center">Our lives really aren't THAT interesting, but some people like seeing pictures of my ADORABLE son!!</div><div align="center"> </div><div align="center"> </div><div align="center"> </div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5235328994336770722" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTDlOXtz6PBMMFuIvU72R-OBCUc2hFcVzRJjvjciB3IsOrWjuj0Zettk4fqyZHlff1en8WAxSO-DEncPxWxn_fOBTXVL3W1rPeANZ_oB0x9q4ImRA6J03nREWSHxyACEdCr6pjb8vygGl5/s320/DSCN0587.JPG" border="0" /> <p align="center"> Not sure how he turned from this....<br /></p><div align="center"></div><p align="center"> <br /></p><div align="center"></div><p align="center"><br /> </p><div align="center"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5235329001633649106" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLfgsxHk9bIWNLgHuF6IfdkV-8HLU_gEHBfk0OF1DI3d3T39Q7WtNFtFv7PJNVCYm0lWhZqCbi5Y-oCbOFi1ZGNkSSKOWG2rFDV1Wk_w8gd-_ZX3a4jfo3efz-84z_gAaq_l3SYnGmHJ_Y/s320/DSC_0369.JPG" border="0" /></div><p align="center"> .. to this, but he has! </p><p align="center">I will try to keep you updated on pictures and the happenings of the Labay's.. ok mainly Luke.</p>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0
